Through the Faculty of Psychology, Medan Area University, the agenda for the interest and talent test and teacher seminar in 2025 has been completed by inviting vocational school/high school students in Medan and its surrounding areas which was carried out en masse and free of charge on February 11, 2025 in the Convention Hall Hj. Siti Mariani Harahap in the New Library building, Medan Area University, Campus 1.

The event agenda from the Faculty of Psychology UMA was successfully implemented and has been attended by more than 10 public and private high schools/vocational schools which are generally located in the city of Medan and its surroundings with each school sending student representatives along with accompanying teachers from each school. This event was carried out with the aim of the vision of the University of Medan Area in building, developing and contributing scientific knowledge to the community in order to create community service and not only that, this agenda also provides a new field of knowledge to psychology faculty students in making social contributions and new knowledge in applying scientific knowledge in accordance with the provisions.

This agenda began with an opening by the MC and was also carried out by students of the Faculty of Psychology and was also attended by representatives of the UMA Rectorate from the Vice Rector for Research, Publication and Partnership, Mr. Dr. Ir. Rahmad Syah, M.Kom Asean, Eng, APEC, Eng and of course also present was also Mrs. Dr. Siti Aisyah, S.Psi, M.Psi, Psychologist as the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UMA who also came down to give a speech to all students and accompanying teachers who were present. And also present were the presence of lecturers from the Faculty of Psychology UMA who enlivened the event in the Convention room where it was held. At the beginning of the event, it was opened by singing the Indonesian national anthem as our love for education in the homeland of Indonesia and then continued with a prayer together so that the event process would run smoothly and peacefully, after all the introductions and openings were carried out by the committee of the Faculty of Psychology and so on to the students were divided and directed to their respective classes in which were assisted by the senior students of the Faculty of Psychology who also helped as the committee for the interest and talent test of the Faculty of Psychology.

After all the series of events were carried out according to procedure, the aptitude test process for high school/vocational school students was closed by each mentor in the class when they finished doing the psychological test. The committee gave a gift as a token of gratitude as well as snacks, drinks, and lunch that had been provided by the Faculty of Psychology UMA. By completing this agenda, it is hoped that the community, especially students, will be more familiar with the Faculty of Psychology Department of Medan Area University and can motivate and introduce students to the profession of psychology graduates in the city of Medan and its surroundings.
