Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Center
The SDGs Center is a coordination and development hub designed to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within Universitas Medan Area (UMA). The SDGs Center serves as a platform that integrates programs, research, policies, and community engagement activities aligned with sustainable development objectives. Through this center, UMA ensures that all efforts related to environmental, social, and governance aspects are carried out in a focused, measurable, and continuous manner to support the achievement of the SDGs.
As a driving force for sustainability, the SDGs Center also strengthens collaboration between UMA and government institutions, private organizations, international partners, and local communities. It facilitates data sharing, research initiatives, education programs, and various innovative activities that encourage meaningful contributions to sustainable development. With this role, the SDGs Center becomes a vital pillar in ensuring that UMA’s contributions to the global SDGs agenda have real and impactful outcomes at the local, national, and international levels.
