In an effort to expand the international collaboration network, the Faculty of Psychology, University of Medan Area (UMA) conducted an academic visit to the Faculty of Education at Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) located in Bandar Baru Bangi, Malaysia. The UMA delegation was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Dr. Siti Aisyah, M.Psi., Psychologist, and was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the UIS Faculty of Education, Dr. Sapie Bin Sablan, accompanied by the Deputy Dean for Academic and International Affairs, Dr. Mohd Izzuddin Bin Mohd Pisol.
This meeting provided a productive dialogue forum, discussing various opportunities for synergy between the two institutions, particularly in the areas of education, research, and scientific publication. The primary focus of the collaboration includes developing joint research in educational psychology, implementing innovative teaching methods, and developing intervention programs to improve the quality of the learning process.

Both parties agreed to encourage the publication of collaborative research results in internationally reputable scientific journals, as part of an active contribution to advancing global educational science and practice.
With the spirit of collaboration and knowledge exchange, the UMA Faculty of Psychology and the UIS Faculty of Education are optimistic that they can produce academic breakthroughs that are relevant and have a positive impact on the wider community.
