PSYCHOCAMP 2024 is a flagship program organized by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Psychology, University of Medan Area (UMA). This activity aims to create a platform for student self-development while strengthening their active role in making real contributions to society. With the theme “Making a True Impact with Psychology,” PSYCHOCAMP 2024 encourages students to directly apply their knowledge of psychology, strengthen social responsibility, and increase awareness of the surrounding environment.
The objectives of this activity are:
1. To encourage students to actively participate in community service.
2. To increase students’ awareness of social responsibility.
3. To provide hands-on experience in applying psychology in real life.
4. To foster leadership and teamwork through various community activities.

Overview of PSYCHOCAMP 2024 Activities
consists of several main sub-activities, namely:
1. Village Development:
• Health education (Diabetes and the dangers of bullying).
• Social service to communities in need.
• Handover of cleaning equipment for places of worship.
• Village clean-up activities.
• Handover of stationery and books to MTTQ SCHOOL elementary school students.
2. Inspirational Talkshow: A discussion session aimed at increasing students’ insight in the field of psychology and community service.
3. Familiarity Activities: Includes outbound, campfires, and story-sharing sessions to build a sense of togetherness among participants.

Location and Venue:
This activity was held in Datuk Amin Hamlet, Sampe Cita Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency. This location was chosen because it provided an opportunity for students to interact directly with the village community, learn more about their needs, and make a positive contribution.

PSYCHOCAMP 2024 will be held
for three days, from December 6–8, 2024. During this period, all participants will be involved in a series of activities designed to provide a deep and meaningful experience.
This activity is a real symbol of collaboration between science and action, where students of the Faculty of Psychology UMA strive to create a real and memorable impact on society and the surrounding environment.
